With nearly $20 million in rewards, this two-year competition is designed to safeguard essential US software. The competition phases include qualifying events, semifinals, and finals slated for 2024 and 2025.

Automated AI analysis of code for vulnerabilities by hackers definitely has the potential to find many exploitable security holes, so I'm glad to see this kind of proactive initiative.
