I am an avid fan of Diet Coke. It is strangely perplexing that convenience stores in the Huntsville area don’t carry 1 liter bottles of soda. They have 20oz. bottles, and 2 liter bottles but not my preferred 1 liter bottles. WHY?

Ummmmm, why not just buy the 2 liter? (I think this is their reasoning too)

I swear, I don't think I've ever seen a 1-liter bottle of soda in my life.

I see the 1 liter around here and there (not were you live, though) but I think that it is being replaced by the more popular 22oz.

What I want to know is why is the 2 liter only slightly more expensive then a 22oz.?

So all is not lost - I was afraid that there was some strange Alabama law that prevented the distribution of pepsi and coke products in 1 liter bottles!

I remember being in a grocery store where I noticed two liters were on sale for less than they were selling 20 ounces of the same brand. Of course you might not be able to drink the 2-liter in your car. Oh well, when you buy a soda you are essentially paying way to much for sugar and water anyways.
Where I live almost all stores have 20's and some of them have 1-liters too. Haven't seen the 22's yet.
