We have purchased a 1903 Bungalow/Craftsman home in the northeast hills of Alabama. It is presently painted a yellow that has faded out over the years.

I am looking for a software program (hopefully free or little cost) that I can use my own photo of my house in order to decide on exterior color.

I have found several virtual programs but none of them feature a house quite like ours. I have also found professional people that will do all of this for me but I am a "hands-on" person that prefers to do it and beside that, they are way too costly.

I would appreciate any help.

Seems like Benjamin Moore had a program that did that. I'll bet other paint companies do that now, too. Check with a Home Depot or Lowe's. Good luck!

WOW - congratulations on the score! (I'm an old house freak, too!)

Yes, B.M did (may still) have an online program, but you will be challenged to find anything historical; as in house structure...

Go to oldhouseweb.com and ask around at the forum there...a large number of friendly, BTDT real-deal reno/restorers there.

Sherwin Williams has a free program, but they offer an 'Arts and Crafts' not in the typical Bungalow style (this porch is on the side)...still, might work for you.

33458 is correct about Sherwin Williams. They also have several Historic collections. I believe they even have an arts and crafts collection. They are quite beautiful.

Spring for the SW SuperPaint. It has a 25 year warranty and provides a beautiful finish.
