Apparently UNM and Brian Urlacher, are in the early stages of a possible joint venture for Sports Bar & Restaurant on UNM's south campus.

If it's anything like what Jerome Bettis did in Pittsburgh, it'll be awesome! That is one seriously cool restaurant and not too expensive. I'm assuming Bettis just loaned his name to it for a fee or percentage; whoever the developer is did a great job!

On average, sport celebrity restaurants seem to struggle in the long run. However, this is one undertaking that I would like to see achieve here in ABQ. How great an asset would such an undertaking be for both the city and UNM! If not by the PIT than certainly somewhere between Nob Hill and Downtown.
