My last renewal was $700 something. It’s based on the value of the vehicle.

What do you guys drive, huge SUVs or Mercedes? I'm only paying $97 for standard license plate renewal.

Again, it's based on the value of the vehicle, depreciating yearly. If you have an older, less expensive vehicle your VLT will be less.

Simple, go buy a new car and find out what your fees are for the next 11 years.
Last year I had to buy a new mini van to accommodate my wheelchair and lift otherwise I would have kept what I had.

I've bought new cars before, not the expensive luxury cars. Just the simple Nissan and Mazdas for commuting to work and home.
