Don't ask for legal advice on a forum. Get a real lawyer.

Get a lawyer especially if it was for taking prescription medication or an OTC rather than drunk or recreational drug induced DUI.

get a lawyer asap if they charge you with a felony your life is over nobody will hire you or rent you an apartment anywhere for the rest of your life there is no statute of limitations on criminal charges they stay with you forver and are public information. Do not be surprised if you get blackmailed bu some unethical company promising to release your photo on a public site if you do not give them money.
Spend everything you have to get a good lawyer who specializes in dwi

The best advice is to not consume any intoxicating substances and then drive. It's just not worth it. If you were driving under the influence? Consider yourself lucky that you did not kill or maim either yourself or God forbid some innocent person(s).

But everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty at least that's the way it's supposed to be, so of course you're gonna' need a lawyer.

Whaaaaaaat? Everyone knows that if you bring a copy of a CD thread to court and show the judge what "people on the internet said" you'll be fine.

When you say DUI don't let people's imagination run wild! There's a big difference between being barely over the limit and well over the limit. So when you post a thread like this, please tell us what the level was. It's similar to the nebulous term sex offender.

I view the DUI hunt, in some ways, to a witch hunt. Believe it or not, I drive more safely having consumed one beer or 2 than none at all. I'm so terror stricken about getting a DUI, after a beer or 2 I'm the most vigilant driver on the road, obeying the speed limit to the max, slowing up for yellow lights, and when sober I daydream at the wheel like crazy. Very dangerous IMO!

You do know if you've been driving for 24 hours, with no sleep, it's the equivalent of having 3 shots of whiskey in your system. Sleep deprived drivers are getting free rides, until they come up with the technology to detect how sleep deprived you are. The clock is ticking for that technology to appear.

Yes, get a lawyer, ASAP!
