With gas prices so high and the resources limited the time may be soon when auto racing may have to end. The country can not continue to waste huge amounts of valuable resources on driving around in a circle.

Horse racing will be available for those that want to watch racing.

If you don't like auto racing, why even waste your time in the sub forum? Your smug disapproval would maybe be appreciated somewhere else. I can't think of where, off hand, but certainly not here.

Has it ever occured to you that perhaps methods if increasing fuel mileage are being developed by "waste(ing) huge amounts of valuable resources on driving around in a circle?" Safety measures have improved tremendously in recent years. What's to say research and development into fuel efficiency isn't either?

Horse racing? takes a lot of fuel for transportation, what a waste.

How about a simple ban on all activities that use fuel to provide a fun time for the participants and the spectators.

We better stick with auto racing, because we can't afford to feed the horses, due to all of their food being turned into ethanol gasoline.

Wasting "huge amounts of valuable resources on driving around in a circle" have yielded incalculable improvements in automotive safety, reliability and fuel economy, all of which have saved infinitely more resources than you smugly assert have been "wasted driving around in a circle."

Now go troll some other forum.
