Well, it's finally happened. What do you all think he's gonna do? Is leaving DEI the right move? Comments?

Jr has been going nowhere with DEI.

Heading out for fresh pastures will show whether the mediocre results of late have been due to the driver or the equipment.

A related question might be if DEI will even exist as such in view of their talks with Robert Yates Racing about combining the teams and running Ford products.

I have not followed this story much-- aside from her not giving him 51 percent what is the problem with them? How is jr's relationship with his sister?

I don't think they've ever gotten along. Maybe Jr. saw her as a gold-digger.

Various reports have JR turning down a 51% interest in DEI.

In a related topic, a couple of reports I've read have pegged DEI's other driver, Martin Truex, as also on the way out at season's end.

Will DEI promote a Busch driver for next season, or will they have to dip into the free agent market?

Will JR land with a team like Ganassi or Gibb, or will he branch out on his own and run his own Cup car program through his Junior Motorsports team?

Tune in next week for answers to these questions and more on the next episode of "As The Wheels Turn".

I kinda hope he goes to RCR and drives the 3. And let Boris Said have his ride at DEI.

What I heard is that it was 60/40 with Teresa getting 60%. Other rumors have him going with Hendrick, but they're denying it.

I think its the best thing he could have done... He should have had more power in that business, and I think his father would have thought the same thing
