That does not RECORD the dashcam. I stand by that. Nothing is INTEGRATED into the headunit/infotainment. You'd need a device like the one that can plug some type of recorder into it as posted.



I also have a hard time understanding why you want this. Maybe explain your use case and we can recommend something else. My friend has a dash cam that can wirelessly send the video to his phone.

It has a video input that records the dash cam. Dash cam with video output sold separately. It's a common feature on these Android head units.

As for the why, presumably just a want to review the dash cam capture on the bigger screen without having to grab the sd card or transfer it to your phone with a wifi connection. Some offer driver assistance features through it too. If you like having things beep at you for crossing a lane and such.

Well I guess it could work in a pinch. Dash cams often have gps and parking mode features so I would just get a dedicated dash cam with rear camera added.
