Jeep is a lifestyle vehicle. You really gotta be into them to own one.
I drove one and thought it was going to fall apart. My BIL on the other hand buys a new one every 3 years like clockwork. Has the latest hybrid Jeep and loves it. The new 4-door ones ride a lot better. Still not my taste but I get my people love them.
Gotta love how every single one out there has that grill deflector on them that make it look like angry eyes.
Love my diesel one, updated with Fox Shox stabilizer and runs very stable.
Also update interior with the sound deadening kit and Michelin tires and runs like a luxury SUV on the highway but with a much better MPG (30 MPG) and real off road capability.
Remove top and doors and there is no other vehicle coming close to it when going site seeing, beach or mountains, all while having the amazing diesel torque behind it.

Don’t get me wrong, if I had enough money I would buy a Wrangler 392 also, and over the Bronco Raptor.
But I finally was able to test drive a Wrangler 4door Rubicon and a Bronco Badlands and the Bronco behaved slightly better with the steering feel, handling on turns and rattles. Not by much tho.
Frame and steering so vague you would think it has 4 wheel independent steering.
85 k I’d be in a year old Range Rover.
85 grand and I'd have a fully restored 78/79 Bronco and a fully restored 73 to 75 full convertable square body Blazer. I'd have that feud sitting in my driveway. And what would be leftover I'd use for gas!

The diesel was a good engine option….shame the lack of sales and the complicated emissions system killed it.
