Kluber seems locked in now and has for a while. Tonight's win coupled with Detroit's loss to KC gives the Tribe a 6 game lead.

First place on August 16 and they could only draw in a crowd of 13,800.

Harry Doyle: In case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven't, the Indians have managed to win a few here and there...

Pitiful attendance figures have me perplexed. Less than 14,000 last night. Fewer than 13,000 tonight.

Toronto fans will fill the joint this weekend.

Should be some good baseball.

A couple of weeks off to rest his elbow and then he went straight into a start. I'm hoping its mechanics as I read his velocity was okay, hitting 96, 97 mph. He continued to throw a couple more simulated innings in the bullpen, so it doesn't seem that he's hurt.

Dollar hotdogs, $2 beers and fireworks will help to boost attendance. It just shouldn't have to take that to do so.

At least the Tribe took two out of three from the Chicago White Sox and now will play a three game series against Toronto.

Tonight's game was something else! I'm glad Bauer didn't have to take the loss after pitching 8 innings and giving up only 2 runs with 13 K's.

I was listening on the MLB app, like I always do, and the Gameday feed was a pitch or so ahead of the radio broadcast when I saw that Ramierez had hit a HR to tie in the 9th. Then, with Naquin at the plate I again saw "run(s)" so of course I knew a HR was coming again! Little did I expect it to be an inside the park job for the walk off!

Indians wrapped up this home stand with a successful 8-3 record.

Now on to Oakland.
