A terrible crime, Kawhi is wise in distancing himself from this situation. Sure he has nothing to do at all with this and her, but you know how sensationalist the media gets.
Kimesha Monae Williams, who is reportedly the sister of Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, has been arrested and charged in the robbery and murder of an elderly woman.
Williams and Candace Tai Townsel are accused of following 84-year-old Afaf Anis Assad into a Temecula casino bathroom on Aug. 31, fracturing her skull, and stealing her purse, which contained $800-$1,200. Williams and Townsel were arrested on Sept. 3; Assad died from her injuries on Sept. 4.
I assume she has a criminal record from previous offenses.
From the story: According to the Press-Enterprise, Williams and Townsel were responsible for stealing the wallet of a casino patron in 2015. Williams herself has also been convicted of petty theft, grand theft, grand theft auto, and attempted robbery in the past.
I find it odd they post HIS picture in the story but not these two fine upstanding citizens.
