Maybe. He does have plenty of talent on that roster to succeed but his results have been average at best. Mind you, there have been injuries so he hasn't had a full roster to set his rotations. Simmons being hurt again is really a bummer right now. He was playing well. He may be having back problems again. Cam Thomas is hurt as well right now.

@DAL he was +3 , and scored 30 points
vBOS he was -9 , and scored 27 points
vMIL he was +3 , and scored 45 points

By the way, I don't like the way Charlotte Hornets are CHO, when CHA looks much better.

I just caught a few minutes of the game near the end of the 1st half. Thomas scored 7 points in barely a minute I think. His game is a little like Curry in that he can create a shot anytime he wants to. Only downside on offense is when he has the ball he is shooting it. He is not looking to pass. If I was the other team I would be doubling him hard especially when he is hot and dare him to pass.

That's what other teams used to do when he had that 40 pt game explosion last season. Teams used to explode 2 men on him right away. IMHO, that's why Coach Vaughn limits his minutes sometimes. They do it with all prolific scorers, i.e., Booker, Giannis, KD, etc. The difference between those aforementioned names and Cam is that, as mentioned, Cam is always looking to score not to find the open man or make a smart basketball play. Once he understands that, we might have to mention him with those names. He can put the ball through the hoop, no question.
I was out all day and was surprised to see this final score. Nets needed this win to have a chance to get into the play-in. Cam scores in bunches.
Yeah I knew CT was headed for 30 or 40 points, because he was 5-5 field in the 1st quarter, and when HE begins like that it always leads to 30 or 40+.
CT needs to shoot well in the 1stQ of each game, or Vaughn puts him in the doghouse and won't give him enough minutes to score much.
Whereas the other guys can each shoot 0-7 in the 1stQ and Vaughn will still give them big minutes.
Nets are such a mess, and the coach keeps changing the starting line-up.
Not good for chemistry.
Vaughn will surely get fired this season or just after this season.
If Vaughn doesn't get fired, hope they trade CT to a legit franchise.
