CT needs to shoot well in the 1stQ of each game, or Vaughn puts him in the doghouse and won't give him enough minutes to score much.
Whereas the other guys can each shoot 0-7 in the 1stQ and Vaughn will still give them big minutes.

Nets are such a mess, and the coach keeps changing the starting line-up.
Not good for chemistry.
Vaughn will surely get fired this season or just after this season.
If Vaughn doesn't get fired, hope they trade CT to a legit franchise.
Have to agree. I feel it's the coaching that leaves a lot to be desired. Nets record should be much better. They have the talent but it hasn't come together. Half the season is over so to save his job, Vaughn has to figure it out.

Cam Thomas pours in another 41 points at New York.
15-26 field, 4-9 threes, 7-7 frees, 6 assists.
Knicks won, but not easily, 111-107, and Nets won the 4th Quarter 31-27 and Cam Thomas scored 19 in 4th Quarter.

I have come around to the fact that Cam should be the go to guy on that team. Seems like the coaches want Bridges to be the man. I don't see why the offense can't go through both of them. Coach Vaughn and Coach Ollie seem to be stuck on Bridges.

Going by this report, they are not sold on Ollie.

The Nets’ coaching search is well underway. It has been for over a month already, and it’s an exhaustive one. With the season winding down — they play their finale Sunday at Philadelphia — Nets general manager Sean Marks and owner Joe Tsai’s list of interviewees has already cracked double figures and may be approaching a dozen, a source told The Post. The most accomplished on the list is likely two-time Coach of the Year and one-time champion Mike Budenholzer — mentioned by The Post a month ago. Kings associate head coach Jordi Fernandez was first cited by NetsDaily, and Suns associate head coach Kevin Young was reported Saturday morning by The Athletic. report also cited Budenholzer and Fernandez as finalists, but a source called the list “incomplete” and said there are more candidates still in the mix. Interim coach Kevin Ollie has been considered, and The Athletic’s report mentioned Heat assistant Chris Quinn and Pelicans assistant James Borrego, who has been linked with the Nets in the past. The sort of coach they hire — i.e., a veteran head coach, or an unproven assistant — could be an indicator of whether they plan a lengthy, full-on rebuild.

Tsai has been taking part in the interview process, according to a source.

The team as it is constructed is not close to being a contender. They can keep changing coaches but in reality they need to either rebuild through the draft or try to form another superteam. Just make sure Kyrie is not part of it.

Well, Mikal Bridges only averaged 19.6 points this season in 34.8 minutes, while Cam Thomas averaged 22.5 points in 31.4 minutes.
So the jury has reached a verdict.

If cam thomas turns into a point guard, he will be an all star easily. Same with cj mccollum, had he been a pg when he was much younger, he would have gotten a couple of max contracts, all star selections. Cj played pg when he got to new orleans, but its too late, hes in his 30's.

Being a small sg does not help the team in defense and rebounds, and switching on d.

Especially when your teammate is Lillard, a total disaster defensively, as the Bucks found out.

Holiday is a elite defender, decent scorer. Once you lose that, plus grayson allens shooting, it not improving the team at all, especially with a older lillard. If its prime dame, then its a different story. The bucks will have a big issue with paying big for lillards ending contract, and pick swaps, 1st round pick. The price is too expensive.
