Enjoy- it's small and low key, easy to get around(as long as you avoid 280), some cute quiet neighborhoods, good schools in mountain brook, not very crowded, small town values, college football discussions
Don't enjoy- terrible city school system(but this is better than combining them and diluting the good ones), occupation/city tax, corrupt politicians
