glad to see the construction fencing has come down.

from bhamnow.com:

SNEAK PEEK: Legacy Arena’s new look is adding magic to the Magic City [photos]

from the article, the scoreboard is being "upgraded" (but not replaced from what i can tell)

They did a really great job with this project, especially considering the budget they had. The exterior is stark white, I will be curious if it stays that way being near the interstate.

Even though I think they will not because I feel like they would have done it by now, but I really wish they would have changed the Legacy Arena display sign outside. It looks so small from the new bridges. Other arenas have bigger massive display signs. Hopefully a new one is put outside soon.

Went to the first game last night via the team. Was in the club suites seats. Very nice. There are seats, plus bar seats option. You have your own bar and food options. Didn't get a chance to walk around, was into the game. Everything in the coucourse area is new. All seats are cushion bottom/back. Ribbon board is very nice. Lights look 100% better. The only negative, besides to scoreboard, is the area behind the baskets. I guess they are still going to have events (monster rally trucks, etc) that will require the extra space. Wish they would have installed permanent seats there to get a true basketball feel where the entire court is surrounded by seats. Other than that, the place is 100% legit better, inside and outside.

Not as big of a crowd tonight.

Hopefully the people show up and support what the NBA is trying to do in Birmingham.

There's enough people in the area to get 2000-4000 at least per night.

Ticket prices need to come down to match the Barons prices IMO.
