Maybe it's a fifteen-year one pay lease with an option at the end.

Maybe you get a big tax write off or some other perk for selling it below market value to a school.

I don't know. Hopefully it will just look better without those lame looking banner signs hanging off it.

Yeah, I'm hoping UAB does a better job with the signage than the last few tenants. I'd definitely like to see UAB Medicine shining bright atop that building!

I don't know. I've been inside that building lots of times when calling on BBVA. That place was built fifty years ago and the interior shows it. I can't even begin to imagine the buildout needed on that place.

And as they build a couple of new research buildings, capacity to hire more lead researchers will increase. I wouldn't be surprised to UAB pass the $1 billion mark in the future.
