At least they have national pride. They wildly applauded their anthem while the Americans in the crowd couldn't have seemed more disinterested. It's a shame that Hatton's supporters were about 1000 times louder than Mayweather's...and they all had to travel 1/2 way around the world to see it.

I guess that is what happens when actual boxing fans (Hatton supporters) are there to pull for their guy...but the Americans (Hollywood actors) were just there to see and be seen by others.

Who cares about what the fans were doing? Or who paid attention during the national anthem? Or how Mayweather defensively wards off his opponent's rough-housing and dirty offensive tactics? The fact is that we are fortunate enough to witness a great fighter at his peak. Floyd Mayweather is a great fighter. Period. If you have the depth to appreciate that, kudos to you. If you don't, I for one don't take you seriously as a hardcore Boxing fan, a true student of the "Sweet Science."

A master performance by Mayweather here! It was Hatton's first loss and it is not expected that he know how to act (because he's never lost). He has nothing to be ashamed of.

National Pride?? looked more like blind idiotic patriotism to me. I have absolutely nothing in common with those drunken louts other than the land we were born on.

Booing another nations anthem is disgraceful... maybe the chants should have come back "where are ya"!

I thought the Americans were the ones that looked classy, respectful, and articulate. The brits were the ones that looked that they had been educated in a cave.
