Has anyone noticed that here recently after some relevant televised bouts that there are possible future opponents jumping into the ring running their mouths WWE style during the post fight interview? I just finished watching Charlo-Trout and it happened. I saw it with Tyson Fury after one of Wilder's recent fights, Adonis came in after Kovalev's last fight, there was some trash talking involving Canelo and GGG recently post fight, just off the top of my head. I never used to see this.

Its gotten more and more common outside of just trash talk. Look at Tyson Fury and Shannon Briggs for example, With the super-hero costumes and Hulk like outbursts. The WWE influence has rubbed off on both boxing and MMA, Like the proposed fight between Mcgregor and Mayweather. I also think these pre-fight scuffles at the press-conferences are staged directly at best, Influenced by officials at worst.

It's unfortunate that there has been a turn in this sport (and many others) where trash talking and classlessness has become the norm. Being confident is one thing, disrespecting your opponents or acting like a circus clown to draw attention to yourself is childish. Perhaps it is good for ratings to get the casual knuckle-dragging fans intrigued, but it is an unfortunate trend that is here to stay.
