What a joke.

That's why a lot of people was able to avoid the price and see it for free on social media. Most people felt it would disappoint and was quickly looking for other options to see the fight.

I am a Mayweather hater (just as much as the next guy), but why does last nights fight make him a fraud?

It was his most entertaining fight since Oscar De La Hoya. If anything you should be offended that the fraud McGregor was given a shot.

Boxing is a brutal sport but champions have detailed strategies that one could view as requiring above average intelligence. I don't like Floyd at all, but his boxing intelligence is very high. Floyd is not a fraud but he refuses to put himself at risk, hence why floyd is not liked. Going for the knockout by throwing bombs and throwing risk to the wind is an instant crowd pleaser but that strategy is detrimental to your health. I hate watching Floyd too, but i absolutely loved arturo gatti...man, I miss that guy!

I just can't believe how terrible machregor was. Beyond a joke. I expected at least a little better after a year of training.

Also just read mayweather tried betting 400 grand on himself to win in the 10th I think? The bet wasn't accepted. 9 rounds of that fight were thrown.

Any real boxing fan knows the real fights to watch were kovalev vs ward and GGG vs Canelo.

Mayweather would stand no chance against GGG's power.
A 27 year old Mayweather would outbox GGG to a unanimous decision.

It was well-known ahead of time McGregor wasn't hiring any boxing trainers for the bout, going with his long-time team instead. So it went exactly as expected and Floyd only accepted due to the low risk and big payday. Wouldn't you?

Just imagine if 29 year-old Floyd decided to take up MMA...I bet he would've been spectacular.

Tyson is another great what-if IMO...

Willie Pep went I think 63-0 before his first loss. Ray Robinson was like 130-1. Ricardo Lopez was 51-0. There are many others out there that I can't think of at the moment. I don't know why people put so much emphasis on Marciano's record.

Who cares?

Now if they had a true fight, MacGregor would put him to sleep in round 1.
