Floyd Mayweather Jr. passing up another multi-million dollar payday with Oscar to retire, huh? Seems unlikely for a man who changes his nickname from "Pretty Boy" to "Money." Probably just another marketing ploy.

What the hell ever happened to fighters who remained humble? "Money"??? Ridiculous.

Default Stay with boxing

I cant see that happening. No money there for Mayweather, plus the risk of breaking a bone, that would finish his boxing career for sure. Any good grappler would submit him in 1 round.

He's probably just holding out for more money. He would make too much money in Cotto and De la Hoya fights to retire.

This wouldn't surprise me, but I don't see him in a serious match. Probably more of a gimmicky act like his last MMA "match."

What MMA "match" has Floyd done? None that I know of.

Default Mayweather

Yeah Floyd was never involved with a MMA match at all. Also if the UFC or any MMA organization signed him he would have to really fight, can be a gimmick. Trust me Floyd wouldnt dare fight in MMA. He will return to fight Cotto, Dela Hoya or the whoever can give him a huge payday.

Everyone forgot about Floyd for about 10 minutes and he just wants to get his name out there again.

I don't think he would have anything to gain by going to MMA.

He might have been afraid that he would eventually have to fight Cotto.
