So I moved to Bozeman not too long ago. Debating switching from Verizon to T-Mobile. Havent used tmobile since I lived on the east cost. How are they out here? anyone have them? I just like T-mobiles deals better.

I am curious if anyone has used both.

I don't live in Montana but maybe this is some info you can use. People I've. talked to in New Mexico another rural state, only recommend AT&T and Verizon. Those 2 carriers have a much wider range of coverage. They told me any other carriers, could not provide strong enough signals there. I would imagine its the same in Montana, if not. even more limited coverage. I'd really check around with some locals, and see what they say. Don't change carriers until you have some recommendations.

I use to have T-Mobile in Massachusetts. It was fine there, but horrible in New Hampshire in rural regions of that state. I've had Verizon for awhile now, and been all over the US. I've never once had trouble with Verizon. Verizon does charge more, but I guess we pay for the better coverage they provide.

I really appreciate your opinion and am thankful you were trying to be so helpful. However cell phone coverage based on providers changes from state to state. For example when I was in Asheville North Carolina T-Mobile actually had one of the best coverages out there. AT&T was horrible and T-Mobile and Verizon were the top two. He would actually not notice a difference between either of them. Yet you drive one state down to South Carolina and T-Mobile coverage stops the moment you walk in doors of any building.

Thanks so much for your input but I'm going to wait to hear from someone from Bozeman for the reasons above

Verizon has by far the best coverage. Costco kiosks have the best deals on Verizon phones.

When lived near Bozeman, I had T-Mobile. Montana was 100% roaming (coverage rolled over to a couple different providers), and voicemail did not work.

Now I have Verizon.
