Just wondering if the hit show, Yellowstone did wonders the growth of Billings and Bozeman. I noticed the homes are not as inexpensive as I had thought. Curious...

Maybe Billings. Not for Bozeman.

Bozeman's been wildly expensive for some time now.

Nah, more like the reckless monetary policy of the Fed, perpetuating the myth that debt = prosperity for regular folks, while the 1% are laughing all the way to the bank.

Bozeman has been a destination for decades. A River Rins Tgrough It and Horse Whisperer likely didn't help though. Billings is maybe where millionaires from Bozeman have been chased out by the billionaires.

was gonna say, A River Runs Through It pretty much ruined fly fishing ... just another snob sport now, for the most part. Featured somewhat prominently in Yellowstone too ... terrible flycasting technique/line management and all

I'd think it would be the opposite. I lived in NJ and worked all my life in NYC, but watching Yellowstone, it's clear that Bozeman in particular and Montana in general is one of the most violent places in the country. People killing one another left and right!

The far lefties on the Left Coast, and their over regulation and high taxes, have driven too many transplants to Bozeman.
