"Hee Haw", eh? (quality, street, how to)

I just read on Wikipedia that Hee Haw, a long-syndicated country-themed variety show in the United States, had a Canadian connection. Two of the show's creators and comedy writers, Frank Peppiatt and John Aylesworth, were from Canada, as were two of its cast members, comedians Gordie (gotta be Canadian with a name like that!) Tapp and Don Harron. For most of the show's existence, it was produced by Yongestreet Productions. Beauty, eh?

Quality humor knows no borders

It was a fun show with a good cast and it is still being shown on the RFDTV channel, and it is still a great show to watch for an easy laugh.

Those Hee Haw Girls still look just as good as they did 30+ years ago too

Gordie Tapp has a great story about his hat he always wore on the show, it actually once belonged to Jimmy Durante.
Gordie also wrote most of the jokes and most of the lyrics for the never ending song "where oh where are you tonight?"
