View the annual Perseid meteor shower as it is reaching its peak this weekend. For any who've never observed it before it's a sight to see. Make a thousand wishes on the "shooting stars" Here's some information about it from the Canadian Press about the best time to view it:

I am at the Ontario lake house that now belongs to my late bf's sons. My daughter and three of our friends are here.
We have a great view of dark sky with the constellation Perseus clearly visible. The meteors are so named because they appear to emanate from Perseus. It is a beautiful Canadian night.
