One more little thing, don't neglect your health and need for some time off. The honeymoon stage is wonderful, but caring for an elderly person will become more challenging in time. I take my mom over to the nursing home she loves for some respite care. She is there now for a week of great food and company. She comes home with a great attitude and plenty of "gossip." lol
