I don't like the caller ID screen for my new Moto E so I downloaded an app called Large Call Screen. I tried to use it and it didn't work at all. Wouldn't answer the calls. I uninstalled it, and then I saw the voicemail icon remained in the upper left and I couldn't get rid of it.
I found an article saying to go to Settings > Apps > Phone and press Clear Data. It worked. So I would avoid that app.
Have you ever installed an app for this and had it work? I may or may not want to risk it, after this all happened.
The first time I used the caller ID screen, I tried pressing on the accept or decline buttons; I briefly didn't realize you're supposed to slide the round thing to the accept or decline buttons. While I was able to use it, some users might not, hence it should say "slide" there, and/or have arrows.
(This appears when you get a call while in sleep mode; if you get a call while active, there's a dialog box with two buttons, which I like better.)
Did you figure it out? You did? Good... I guess we don't need ARROWS or SLIDE.
Don't say "Well someone might not be able to figure it out...." I promise no one who has had their phone more then a few days is still struggling with that.
As for what you are looking for, they are called DIALERS. Do a search in the Play Store for that.
Pretty cool feature you may not know, Robert. Login to the Play Store with your Gmail address. Do a search for Dialers.
When you find one you want to try click INSTALL. It will send it to your phone. Voila.
I used Contacts+ and Dialer+ for awhile. You might want to try those (they work great together).
Device screens should be designed as clearly as possible so that the user doesn't have to spend time working out how to do it. It should be obvious the first time.
Dialers are for dialing out. I think they're not for what appears when you receive a call.

Disagree. I'd prefer my devices not be so incredibly dumbed down that a 5 year old could figure it out. If that's what you need, get an iPhone. lolol JUST KIDDING iPHONE HEADS!

I thought you trusted me, Robert. This upsets me greatly that you do not... (kidding)
There is no app for dialing out versus dialing in. It is all dialing. Have I ever given you bad phone advice?
