Yes. Sorry if not clear. If you set up a Gmail account, you can log in there and send apps from there right to your phone.
And you apparently need a browser on your phone? Are you looking at City-Data on your phone?

Get the same pop-up.
To install the app, all you have to do is open the play store and search for "google files". That is if you do not already have it. If you go to settings, storage, manage storage. You should see several options including one to clean junk files. I'm on Android 11, yours may be a bit different?

On my phone, both of these methods take you to the same place which is the google files app.

If your phone is the Moto g7 you are probably on Android 10 or 11. Something similar should be there.

OP, it may already be there. Have you looked?

If he goes to the link I shared on his PC it will tell him if it is installed. Something odd on his phone because he can't get to that link on his phone?!?
Need to make sure he created a Gmail account.

I think what you are aiming for is that he is logged into a google account on his phone?

Same thing, you can't download an app from the play store if your phone is not logged into a google account but I think you can still go to the page for the app. The install button may be greyed out? I forget, it's been a long time since I've seen it.

He can also go to settings, accounts and check it there. If no google account appears, there is the problem.

What I also mentioned is that he may already have the app on his phone. Many newer phones already have it, mine does and even my last phone had it. It does vary by model and manufacturer.

Yes, the google files are already on my phone.

And the phone comes with the chrome browser installed, that is how I am posting here.

Does it look something like this if you open it?

If so, you will see the button to clean junk files? Should do more or less the same as the apps you mentioned.

Same one.
I didn't realize until the folks on this forum told me that google files also did clean up.

Maybe I'm mistaken but the files on a desktop don't perform that function?

I found out that on my phone at least they are exactly the same thing. If you get to it from settings, it's the same thing as the icon in apps.

Believe it or not, I do appreciate help with Grammer, sentence construction, spelling and pronunciation.

I'd like to see a category dedicated to the subject.
It would be great.

Yeah .. Boring but great!
