Hello Deli is AWESOME!!! My husband had a pastrami omelet there that was incredible. I usually get the western omelet. It's not set up like a typical jewish deli though, more like a regular restaurant.

The closest I've seen to a real Jewish Deli is up in Summerville: Charleston Bakery and Deli - Home Page but far from kosher. I don't each fish so can't comment.

Agreed with Hello Deli in North Charleston or Charleston Deli in Summerville .

Also, Charleston has a pretty big Jewish population so even major grocery stores, such as Publix, stock some Jewish foods.

Hello Deli is fantastic. We ate there twice so far. Was at the courthouse (not for me). Ate there during lunch. Luckily it isn't near my house off of Ladson Rd. I would be there every day. I think you can't go wrong.
