Hello!

I am excited to move to the area -- one of the houses I am currently looking at currently needs an updated air conditioning unit and I was curious to know about people's experiences with HVAC companies since it's something I have never had to use myself before. One of my friends recommended East Cooper Heating and Air which looks pretty promising and has great reviews (https://www.eastcooperheatingandair.com/) so I was wondering if anyone had experience with that one especially! Thank you in advance.

HVAC work is subjective. Some people want complete OCD overkill and others want speed and availability. I like a little bit of both. When researching, as a rule of thumb, if the HVAC technician can't repair a unit, meaning they only do installs, I steer clear. I want someone who knows how to break down a unit, repair it, and maintain it...
