Those cheap flights to Florida really are a nice addition. I know of a couple that uses them often, and they will never drive back to Florida as long as these prices stick around.

Before I left in May I flew down to Fort Lauderdale for 10 days to see a friend. Scariest flight of my life on the way down... massive turbulence... but it seriously my ticket down was $9.00 an on thew way back was $19.00 both plus taxes and fees of course... and I checked a bag which was 30.00 but still. That's way cheaper than driving, and about 14 hours faster. Great asset to Charleston and WV.

Those prices are the cheapest i've heard so far. Seems like every time i need to fly somewhere i pay out the wazzoo, even if i book several months in advance.

He was referring to Spirit Airlines which is ridiculously cheap (although you have to pay extra for things you take for granted on other airlines). If you are flying US Air, Continental, Delta, or any of the other major carriers, expect to pay a few hundred dollars routinely.
