Has anyone else notice more weeds in there lawn this year. I even had lawn service back in February.

But I do notice on my daily walks around the neighborhood. There are lots of lawn with weeds. Just saw a few that had none. Must be the early warm weather and warm winter.

time to check to see when the next time the lawn service is coming out. Its been about 7 weeks, usually they say 6 or 8 weeks.

I hope you're wrong, but I've heard this from many people.

Interesting, I actually notice an increase in weeds between 4 years ago and 2 years ago, and I wasn't sure if it was environmental or just a reflection of the economy - people not able to spend money to keep their lawns up. I also suspected that many of us used the same landscaper and perhaps he spread the weeds around (inadvertently) on his equipment. My wife used some grass seed that seemed to contain more weeds than grass!! It was nuts! First the grass came up and it looked nice, but 3 weeks later it was all weeds and of course the weeds just took over.

But this year, around here I think most lawns are actually looking better (fewer weeds) than last year.

My whole lawn was one big creeping weed. I had to weedeat them down to an acceptable level so that I could mow and then spray them. I was to mow this weekend, but rain. I actually pulled up half my lawn under my tree in the back yard. I have NO idea what I'm going to do with that part of the lawn now. I kind of don't want to try to grow grass in that area.
