Especially for gay life and gay sex, this is one of the boriest places I have ever visited. Do not come here. I personally can’t wait even one day more to take my plane and fly back home.

From what I understand there are gay bars and nightclubs, but not sex clubs if that is what he is looking for. For that sort of thing, he should probably visit Atlanta, from what I have heard.
If you are bored in Charlotte, its because YOU are boring. Museums, professional sports, outdoor recreation, symphony, opera, theater, great restaurants, special events, etc.

Light Rail hop to 1820, Lucky's, parks, greenways, NoDa, games, Dog parks, movies, bowling, arts, museums, plays, shopping, bars, clubs, etc. along the blue line a lone.
Carowinds, White Water Center, South Park, Montford, Plaza-Midwood, Lake Norman, etc. you can get to by car. There's lots to do. Only boring people stay bored.
To be fair, even straight people can die of boredom in Charlotte as well!
