My husband will be interviewing for a job for possible relocation from south Georgia to Cleveland. However, we really know nothing about the area. I will also need to replace my income (approx. $60K). Can someone tell me about the outlook for employment in the information technology/communications/public relations field for that location?

I grew up in Cleveland and recently moved from there. I'm not sure of many jobs in Cleveland where you'd make that kind of money. You may have to commute down to Chattanooga, about 30 min. to find a job in one of those fields. Cleveland is beautiful, especially in the fall, when the foiliage is at its peak. The main place to shop in Cleveland is Wal-Mart, which there are 2, yes, 2 Super Centers. I think that's either amazing or scary for a town it's size to support 2 of those monstrosities, but anyway. Again you've got some better shopping opportunities down in Chatt. Homes in Cleveland will be very affordable. You might even try a town called Ooltewah, which is inbetween Chatt. and Cleveland. Hope this helps.
