I've almost exclusively used the Chevron on Amnicola Highway, it's been ethanol free. Also the Texaco on the North Shore/Frazier Ave has been ethanol free as well. I'll keep an eye out for any changes, though.

Default ethonol is ruining your engine

I have a 2009 Tahoe and it only has 33,000 miles. Yesterday while driving in Hammond area it stop running. I had to get it towed to Ross Downing Chevy. They told me that my fuel injctors and throttle body were gummed up from ethonol gas. It wasn't covered by warranty and I walked out of dealership after paying $305.00. The service guy told me his wife has a new Honda car and hers shut down with only 15,000 miles due to the same thing. he also told me vehicles are coming in left and right with the same problems caused from ethonol. I drive all over south La. and south Ms. and will try my best to find gas stations that don't sell ethonol! Something has to be done whether it is a class action suit or etc.

Kankus Express on East Brainered doesn't have Ethanol either. I just filled up there on Monday. They have a huge sign out stating that they don't have Ethanol in their gas.

When I'm around East Ridge I'll gas up at the Exxon at the corner of moore and ringgold rd. Their ethanol free and my car runs good with it. I've heard that all Chevrons are ethanol free, and their are two other stations on hwy 58, near 153, that have no ethanol in their gas.

That seems a little extreme. Were you filling up with E85 or something?

The whole ethanol-in-gas thing is a joke, from my understanding at least. The methods used to produce ethanol leave a bigger eco-footprint than the use of oil itself does (this was true as of a few years ago), so the environmental argument is a farce. The ONLY benefit to using ethanol that I can figure is in terms of money and the economy. Less foreign dependence on oil and more money for American agriculture (if that's where the ethanol actually comes from, which I'd have my doubts). But it's obvious we don't see these benefits in our $3.00/gal. gas prices. And this is not even bringing in the fact that, as Aflac1bdc pointed out, ethanol-enriched fuel is horrible for car engines. It is a sad situation.
