Good for uofc. It does seem many universities are moving away from free speech. Diverse thought and critical thinking may be be a thing of the past.

I think in 2017 or 2018 I heard that U of C was actively promoting freedom of speech. This freedom seemed agiven when I was in college starting in 2009. There was no script to follow. The importance of free speech was made evident to us in, like, 3rd grade. I’m glad I got out before things got this way

I felt my university was pretty open about free speech. The result was that conservative christians planted themselves daily in our designated free speech zones and harassed every woman on campus.

Nah, I think that the amount of presumed censorship, and left script to follow actually becomes conservative in its rigidness? Like, I’ve seen some illustrations of political spectrums where the far left loops around and ends up back at the far right and I think that’s how it is at American colleges. This was evident enough that there was a Simpsons episode that had a bit about political correctness on campuses awhile back
