So sad. My heart goes out to all involved. This is what you call being between a rock and a hard place. To those of us who have no "skin in the game" it can seem like a black and white issue. But I have known of at least a couple of people who had amputations ordered by hospitals that lead to their death. But if her toes are black - it seems like they need to do something quickly. It's a sad story of human suffering. I hope something good happens for them.
