It seems like Fairfield is very small and mostly families reside there. I don’t really see much to do, especially for young professional moving in. Does anyone have any suggestions of what would be a good location or neighborhood to move to? I am looking for apartments. I like being surrounded by nature. I thought I might look into Oakley, Hyde Park but decided might be too long to commute and it seems dirty or too much bridges to have to drive on.

There are dozens of apartment complexes with young professionals all along Route 4 between Fairfield and Glendale and in the bordering neighborhoods of Springdale, Sharonville, and West Chester. Settling down around here would put you close to Winton Woods and Sharon Woods - two Hamilton County parks with great access to nature and outdoor activities.

This is a very suburban part of town however and is not considered a "trendy" area for young professionals.

I'm not sure what you mean by Oakley and Hyde Park being dirty and having too many bridges, but even if you don't like those neighborhoods, other desirable neighborhoods for young professionals will mostly be concentrated on the east side of the city and will keep your commute in the ~30 minute range to Fairfield.

You may have to compromise by either taking on a longer-than-desired commute or settling in an area with less "hip" amenities but is closer to Fairfield.

Apartment complexes with young professionals, close to nature, not too far from Fairfield, and not in Hyde Park or Oakley is going to be tough to find.

Only place I can think of that might work is Mason, which is family and minivan heaven but may also have a contingent of young professionals due to its size and its proximity to P&G and other places.
