International Student looking for a Studio or 1Bedroom Apartment in NYC

Hey guys I'm a 23 years old Brazilian looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment in New York City

I'm here on a student visa so I'm having a hard time finding a place because I don't have a social security number

I work as a paralegal for a Brazilian office and submit all the paperwork online so I do have income and I can pay the rent on time

Do any of you know who I can rent a place herein NYC being an international student ?

2) Work with your school to help you find housing.

I would guess your school ID and native Brazilian i.d. would be adequate. Doesn't your passport have the student visa inside? I think that would be ideal for identification. Print the biographic page and the student visa page.

Ironbound near Newark Penn station is also a desireable place for Brazilians. But I'm not sure how far that is from your school.

Talk to the college about how to find housing. There is usually on-campus housing and an international students department that can help you.
