We may be going to Carolina Beach this month (May). We are looking at the Golden Sands Motel. I was wondering ...how is the beach at high tide ? I know at Myrtle we could still stroll on the beach during high tide but some beaches I have been to , that is hard to do.

Is Carolina Beach basically the same as Myrtle Beach ?

Also....what about during Myrtle Beach bike week .....will we be able to avoid that by visiting Carolina Beach ?

Thanks a million.

Yes we live in TN and I have no idea about the NC coast. I've only been to Myrtle beach once and heard that it's hell during bike week so I wanted to avoid it at all costs.

I know how things get here with the Bristol Motor Speedway race and etc....there are crowds in all the surrounding cities.
