So I am moving to Wilmington area in August sometime and I need some help with finding a place to live. I have never had to do it from so far away! I just need to find a temp place to camp at until I can find a more permanent place. I thought I would fly out and do this. then drive my stuff and cats out later? Has anyone done this before?
I've looked on craigslist and it is mostly college students and vacation rentals , neither are good for me. Any suggestions on rental places that are short term without being a weekly vacation rental, (The rents they want weekly are ridiculous, I could pay a whole month for a normal place.)
I just don't want to be stuck in a lease when I have to rent a place unseen. I was hoping someone who did a long move could tell me what they did and how it worked out for them.
