I hit an estate sale, probably the first one of the year. YAY!!! Spring is around the corner in Connecticut!
Anyway I was looking for flatware because my son will be in his own place soon and I'm hoping to share what I have (he can have the stuff we don't like).

So I found this shoebox with this stuff (and a few other pieces). The box of flatware said $30. I didn't know what kind they were. I knew they were vintage and they felt good so I said "why not. When I was rung up with a new LL Bean sling bag, some vintage earrings (2pr), a cookbook from Georgia and the little irons to make these:
Rosettes I Recipe - Allrecipes.com

$20 for all.

It's for sure Wm Rogers I.S. I've been looking for the pattern and my eyes are crossed from scrolling through patterns. I'm not finding it. Any clues? (sorry my picture posting skills are lacking)

Picture isn't the greatest, but it resembles the Fascination pattern pretty closely. It's silverplate, not sterling. The I.S. refers to International Silver, the company that owns Wm Rogers. Fascination pieces are available on EBay.

Yes! Nailed it! Thanks! Looks like it was made in the 30's. The estate was from a lady who recently passed at 92. She had some fascinating stuff. I think we could have been friends!
