We have an old very tarnished silver plated musical instrument. Brasso did not work well. It removed alot of tarnish but left alot as well. Thanks.

If it is actually silver, you use Mrs Wright's Silver Cream and some elbow grease. After you are all done rubbing the cream off and on, you buff with a clean cloth.
