Hello,

I am new to CO Springs and would love to find a cheap (less than $15) hair cut place. I had an awesome place for $10 in Portland and trying to find similar place here in CO Springs!

Thanks in advance,

Ravi

Sun also does clothing alterations, so you can lower your ears and raise your hem all in one place.

Just east of Suns is the Venetian Barber Shop, 3107 N Hancock. Traditional old school barber shop with a few chairs and a couple of talkative guys.

South of Fillmore in the Bon Center is the Bon Barber shop at 2306 N. Wahsatch. Mickey can do a quick cut with a hot towel and get you out in 15 minutes. Since she used to have a shop down on B street, she does tend to cut hair a bit short at times. Great if you like shorter hair.

I use the Bon Barber, and I am really happy with it. It's the only barber I've been to where seeing three or four people in front of you doesn't mean you'll be there for more than an hour. I do a somewhat short cut, though.

I sometimes got a haircut at a Korean place just outside the gates of Fort Belvoir, VA; that lady could get me in and out of the chair in 8 minutes. Her electric clippers also had a vacuum cleaner hose built into the handle that sucked up the clippings. Amazingly fast.

I used to go to a similar place on N. Academy near Dublin and it may have the Academy Barber Shop at 6541 N. Academy which used to advertise $7 haircuts.
