Pueblo's first sky scraper

Pueblo started growing last year and we are getting condo high rise buildings mostly around 6 stories in downtown. However now it looks like we will be getting our first sky scraper! I can not tell you guys how excited I am as I have wanted sky scrapers my entire life.

Here is the description and link:

Vista Tower Condominiums

The 20-story tower is currently in the planning stages for Pueblo, Colorado. Located in their old downtown neighborhood, the unobstructed views and ground level retail will benefit the city and its residents. Using porcelain tile skin and self-adjusting window tint, the views will be spectacular. Slated for 2022 delivery, the building is intended to be a beacon and catalyst to reflect the best of this important town to the centennial state.

"currently in the planning stages" and "slated for 2022 delivery" are very difficult to reconcile. Unless... the delivery is just their plans.

When was this announcement made? Where is the press release? Groundbreaking date? Pre-sales started or completed?

The project is not mentioned in the news section of the architect's site. No mention in last 6 months on their Twitter account. I can find zero other mention in a Google search... so far.

Do you have a tip that a proper announcement is imminent?

Who is the developer? What is the location? Got all city approvals? Financing complete?

Oh hey, a press release for a 6 story building by them today:

https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/puebloproud/

Scroll down a few posts for the info.

"Project partners expect to break ground on the 120,000 square-foot project in early 2023 with mid-2024 as the target for completion."

"Expect" to break ground in 7-9 months...

2 development partners... One with a President on the job for 2 months (company may be that young too), the other a bit over a year old. Fwiw.

There is, also, another 6 story condo high rise planned by the riverwalk. Plus new housing devlopments. The largest over 1,200 acres off the Beulah highway. Lots going on in Pueblo.
