Safe?

Rent seems really low for the rental home.

We. I. Have no idea. Daughter getting ready to sign on dotted line.

#11 on dangerous neighborhood list, but she claims that is far north hilltop.

Yeah, no, Hilltop is not a good area and will be getting worse and crime from the Franklinton gentrification moves west. There was a shooting a couple blocks away from that address like yesterday

Hilltop is a huge area. It's not just Sullivant and West Broad. Parts of it are fine.

It will be getting worse as the house are being completely remodeled? Are they gonna sell those shiny "new" homes to criminals?

probably. We went ahead and applied (paid).

The guy the landlord hired to find us two stoopits wanted depost and first months rent.

Check sent electronically on 4/26. Amount was in their account by 27th.
We packed items movers didnt put in storage (loft lease was close to done) and I headed to Ohio.

Cute house. Ok neighbors it seems. It was the mold in basement. Glass block windows not allowing any air in the 1948ish tudor. Awful

Find electric issues. Etc. Long story short we are now in a townhome in Dublin.

We asked during the cell phone tour of water damage, mold, flooding etc.. no no no. Liar liar

When it rained, there were 3 leaks: kitchen and two in mold pit below.

Moving is not fun.

Thank you all.

Wait... you sent money sight unseen?!
You didn't mention in your original post that that wast he plan. I would never advise anyone to do that. You should always see the property first in person before committing.

I know that now. We were worried we would be stuck in between places. We were also in marriot for a few.

Huge bungle by movers.

Had to be in place by may 1st. It was not good at all. Lesson learned.

I blame the virus.
