Vets was replaced more because it was functionally obsolete, not because people found it ugly. Some did, some didn't. It lacked natural light, ceiling heights were very low, and several additions and renovations over the years had made the layout worse.

Outside of this forum, I have seen overwhelmingly positive responses to the preliminary design of the new sympony proposal. It's reminiscent of similar buildings across Europe. There's no reason to think it will age poorly.

It honestly looks like it should be an outdoor complex like Blossom or something. It is a very boring design. Anyone saying they prefer this to a real symphony hall is purely coping. Let's at least try to be objective here cheecher.
You suggesting others should try being objective is hilarious. I get that this is all subjective, but your view very much seems to be in the minority of responses elsewhere. Regardless, we really don't know if this is going to be the final design.

You never have any point to make. You can't even defend this awful design because you know I'm right. Just pointless disagreement. Whatever.

Defend it from what, though? There have been no constructive criticisms about it, only a very shallow "it's ugly", which is entirely subjective. You didn't make any point other than to give your opinion. What deep analysis do you expect to receive?
