The computer displays at computer shop often show stunningly sharp videos. My laptop never looks like that. Does anyone know how the computer shops are able to produce such high resolution images?
Is it the monitor? The "video card"? Or is it the video?
Often they oversaturate the TV or Monitor on the showroom floor to make the colors "pop". That can be done manually or sometimes via a "vivid" or other setting.
monitor is probably something like this:
LG 27UL500-W 27-Inch UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Monitor with Radeon Freesync Technology and HDR10
As an iMac user, I don't pay attention to monitor prices. But, that LG monitor for under $400 is just amazing.
I remember paying $1300 ($2100 in today's dollars) for a 19-inch Viewsonic CRT.
would it be correct to say, that an image looks extra sharp:
1. when the ####x#### of the video is bigger than the ####x#### of the monitor
2. when ####x#### per inch is higher?
Seems logical to me, that these would increase resolution...
