Try running HWiNFO64. It shows the computer model info on the main screen.

Based on the specs, it's probably a Surface Pro 2 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface_Pro_2).

You can also: START > RUN > MSINFO32 > OK which should show you the model related info under "System Model" (I believe).

HWINFO64 Jonah mentioned is a really good freebie but I agree, it seems like a Surface Pro 2.

Thank you, all!!!

It shouldn't be so difficult and I don't know why they make it that way. I have 4 Surface computers at home (different models) and it's the same with all of them.
Why don't they just say that on "About" section, it's just

Have you tried running MSINFO32 to see if it gave you the model?
To me, it looks like a Surface Pro 4.

Yes. Had the same result on this one (Surface Pro4). Needed a second opinion
Thank you!!

Still not sure about the first one which I acquired at least a couple years later than the Surface Pro 4.

None of the images posted here are available on my computers.

I think they were less obvious or easy to find out with really early versions.
The worst case scenario, you can go to the related Wiki page and searched for a model you think it might be then see if any of the CPU specs matches yours. That would be the first thing match.

So, if you have a Intel Core i5-6300U and found out it to be Surface Pro 4, then you can guess that one with a Intel Core i5-7300U is going to be a newer/higher model.
On that wiki link, search for Surface Pro 5 and see if the specs match. If not, go one model up. Hope this helps as a last resort.
