I think that's what I need. Just decent picture and sound.

I can't get a quality signal. Digital cable isn't available. All I have is satellite. With just a standard receiver.

What do you think?

That sounds appropriate for the short term. It won't be long until there will no longer be an analog signal available and your satellite forces you to convert to the HD set. Only a couple years until the current law forces this.
